Goldenstarhouse is a football news publication written in English for readers in Canada who follow the French game. The desk is small on purpose: eight people across reporting, editing and production.

Who makes the site

Staff writers Antoine Rivière, Claire Vasseur, Thomas Delaunay and Julien Marchand cover the national team, European nights, transfers, tactical analysis and women’s football. Production editors handle headlines, dates, links and the evening homepage pass.

Editorial principles

• Short sentences. Clear verbs. No invented drama.
• Match facts come from official competition data before they appear in a scoreboard or report.
• Transfer stories need confirmation, not momentum.
• Analysis describes patterns on the pitch; it does not invent quotations from named public figures.

How facts are checked

Each piece is read by a second pair of eyes before publication. Scores, dates, squad lists and competition names are checked against primary sources. When a claim rests on a club source, we say so in plain language — “a source at the club,” “a person close to the dossier” — without theatre.
